CAER专刊征文：碳中和目标下的农业和农村发展【转】

In the light of China’s carbon-neutral goal on 2060, agricultural and rural development is facing enormous challenges as well as opportunities. What is the role of the agricultural and food sector in achieving the national carbon-neutral goal? How to coordinate economic growth in the agricultural sector and decarbonization progress? Which policies are available to promote the adoption of clean technologies in agricultural production? What are fundamental forces to shape a low-carbon rural life? How to align rural revitalization with the carbon-neutral goal?

This special issue hosted by the Center for Energy & Environmental Policy Research (CEEP) at Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT), mainly aims to explore appropriate pathways of China’s agricultural and rural development for contributing to the carbon neutrality. We welcome topics including, but not limited to:

• Decarburization of Agricultural and Food Sectors
  

• Smart Agriculture

• Renewable Energy Production

• Greenhouse Gases Emissions from Agriculture Production

• Low-carbon Food Supply Chains

• Low-carbon Rural Lifestyle
